Latitude E with 3008WFP

Hi,

I want to buy one of the new Latitude E-Series notebooks which are equipped with a Displayport connector for example the E4300+E-Port where the Displayport is provided by the E-Port. The 3008WFP has also a Displayport. Can I connect the Latitude with the monitor and use the full resolution of 2560x1600?

I have called my Dell Business contacts but no one had an answer for this question and I can't find any hints in the manuals or the technical documentation.

Thanks for answers.

The Intel Datasheet (page 15 and 17) for GS45 chipsets says yes. It states that the Displayport is supported with 1.62Gb/s and 2.7Gb/s on 1, 2 or 4 datalanes. This is enough to use 2460x1600 on display (wiki). I think with nVidia graphics it is also possible.
